Shortage of sharks at Chagos

Comparison of shark counts on dives in the 1975 expedition (1975-JSDIE) and 1978-1979 expedition(1978-JSCRE) with counts made during the 1996 expedition(1996-FC) ). Findings highlight dramatic declines in shark numbers between the 1970s and 1996.
